Building the Turkish facility of an international nappy manufacturer to EU CE directives and LEED criteria.
For the Turkish investment of Belgium-based Ontex Group, a wide-span production building and administrative office block meeting EU CE construction directives and LEED certification prerequisites — while fully compliant with TBEC-2018 — had to be constructed together. An international independent engineering firm supervised all processes.
Our Solutions
A steel frame system compliant with European CE directives was selected. The building envelope used sandwich panels and thermal-bridge-breaking details meeting LEED energy criteria. All fabrication and material tests were approved by both local and international inspectors; the project was delivered on time and within budget.
