This cosmetics manufacturing facility, built for GMP compliance under the EU Cosmetics Regulation, was designed with a multi-zone HVAC pressure cascade system, ISO 7 clean-room infrastructure and epoxy-coated interior surfaces — passing an independent GMP pre-audit at the first attempt.

Project Challenges
Contamination-preventing pressure-cascade clean-room infrastructure for a GMP-certified cosmetics facility.
For GMP compliance under the EU Cosmetics Regulation, production, filling and sterilisation zones had to be separated by contamination-preventing air pressure cascades, HVAC systems had to support ISO 7 clean-room classification, and all interior surfaces had to be finished with hygienic coatings.
Our Solutions
A multi-zone HVAC system defining separate positive pressure cascades across production, filling and corridor areas was designed. All interior surfaces were sealed with epoxy coating to minimise microbiological contamination risk. The facility passed an independent consultancy's GMP pre-audit at the first assessment.
